Terms and Conditions Governing Enrolment and Admissions for Jan & Elly Programmes

Parents are asked to note that enrolment and admission to our programmes are subject to the conditions set out below:

1. Public Holidays and Term Holidays
   Enrichment programmes will be divided into four terms in accordance with national school holidays.  Each term consists of eleven and twelve lessons for English and Math respectively. All public holidays will be observed, and you will be notified of make-up lessons via our term dates sheet, emails or website.
    
2. Fees Payable
    - Non-refundable registration fee upon submission of enrolment form
   - To confirm enroment, the following must be paid:
      - term fees;
      - refundable deposit (subject to conditon no. 3) and
      - material fee for each course level.
    
3. Withdrawal and Deposit Refund/Forfeiture
   Deposit will only be refunded if you give the Centre a written withdrawal notice one month prior to the last CLASS of the current enrolled term. We recommend completion of any enrolled term, as there is no partial term fee refund for early withdrawal.
   
   Deposit will be forfeited under one or all the following circumstances: 1) less than one month written withdrawal notice is given to the Centre, 2) no withdrawal notice and non-payment of fees upon due date.
    
4. Absences
   There are no make-up classes for students who cannot make it to class under any circumstances. However, missed worksheets will be given to the students in the next lesson.
    
5. Audio-visuals of Students
   Students may be captured on video or photographs while attending class. These audio-visuals may be used in the Centre’s corporate collaterals, such as print, website, social media, etc. The Centre reserves the right to use these audio-visuals as and when it deems appropriate.
    
6. Student's Work
   The Centre holds copyright to all students’ work that were completed under Jan & Elly’s programmes.
    
7. Personal Injury and Loss
   You agree that the Centre will not be liable for death or personal injury that occurs on our premises except to the extent caused by our negligence. You also agree that the Centre will not be liable for any damages due to loss of personal property that occurs on our premises.
    
8. Temporary Closures Under national Directives
   All fees remain payable and non-deductible during the unlikely event of temporary suspension of classes due to nationally declared breaks resulting from emergence of pandemic or emergency crisis.
    
9. Change in Mode of Delivery of Lessons in Compliance with National Directives
   All fees remain payable and non-deductible during any change in modes of delivery of lessons due to compliance with nationally declared directives resulting from emergence of a pandemic or emergency crisis.
    
10. Amendments to Terms and Conditions
    The Centre reserves the right to include, delete and amend any of the terms and conditions herein without prior notice.
     
11. Personal Contact Details
    You agree that the Centre may collect, use and disclose your personal data, as provided in this enrolment form, or (if applicable) obtained by the Centre as a result of your child’s enrolment, for the following purposes in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012:
    - the processing of your child's enrolment;
    - the administration of the enrolment with the Centre; and
    - the receiving of information regarding matters pertaining to your child or the Centre’s student administration matters and important announcements.
     
12. Marketing Material
    You agree that the Centre may collect, use and disclose your personal data, which you have provided in this form, for providing marketing material that you have agreed to receive, in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012.
     
13. You may withdraw consent to the use and disclosure of your personal data and/or audio-visuals for receiving marketing materials at any time by sending an email to enquiry@jan-elly.com stating that you no longer wish to receive marketing material from the Centre.
